Do you think CPS is corrupt?

they are overworked, underpaid, and those two facts lead to people who either burn out or are corrupt. what always bothered me about the system is that the whole system is set up to be temporary but for millions of children it is a permanent situation. and yet they still move them from foster home to foster home making sure it is hard for them to learn how to make personal connections, are ready for life after they have aged out, and are often made to feel like throwaways. one foster lady down the street from me many years ago was just this side of horrible to her charges. i saw caseworker after caseworker walk into that place for only a few minutes before leaving often not even seeing the children they were supposed to be watching out for.
